Invisible Diversity - Panel 8
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Full Text Panels 1-18

Now we start a section on genetic diversity of individuals and its variability across the world. Panel 8 explains that humans also differ in characteristics that are invisible to the naked eye, but which are detectable in blood tests, and which are independent of any visible physical aspect. Eight photos of diverse individuals characterized by blood type are linked to each other by arrows. This illustrates their mutual compatibility as expressed in transfusion possibilities. The diversity of blood groups across the world is illustrated by a map of ABO frequencies.
