Height - Panel 4
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Full Text Panels 1-18

This panel presents the distribution of heights across the world and explains this as the result of adaptations by our ancestors to diverse environments. It also illustrates the range of heights within populations, as normal distributions with individual heights centered around population means. These distributions overlap, showing how some people in "short" groups are taller than some people in "tall" groups.
